  1. Betting the House Quinella

    Now we offer House Quinellas on every race.

    In a Quinella the customer picks horses to come win and place, either order, but risking half of an exacta box. For example if he takes QUINELLA 3, 5 for $50, he get paid if horse 3 and 5 come win and place or place and win respectively.

    For a House Quinella, the following formula is used:

    ½ the place price X the win price = House Quinella payoff.  Then for each $2 wagered multiply ½ total bet X payout.
    Win            Place
    $8.00          $5.00   = 2.5 X 8.0 = 20 House Quinella payout ($2 wager)
    $50 House Quinella =  $25 X  20 = $500  House Quinella  payout.
